SEN Celebration of Achievement event delayed

Due to the Coronavirus lockdown, we were unable to hold our regular SEN Celebration of Achievement event, that normally takes place at the end of every academic year.

We really miss being able to properly celebrate and congratulate our amazing learners, and the hard work they put into their classes all year.

There is no certainty about when we will be able to gather 200 people indoors and we discussed holding it over Zoom, but that would mean a large number of students missing out so we still plan to hold a Celebration event, as soon as it is safely possible, and will let you know as soon as anything is agreed.

The Celebration of Achievement events start with an exhibition of our amazing learners’ work followed by live performances from classes, award presentations for all our dedicated students, information stalls about local services and refreshments made and served by our Hospitality and Catering project learners.

We also hold stalls in reception that raise money for local charities. Learners from our Retail and Administration project run the stalls and many of our classes contribute a wide range of things to raise money like cupcakes, cards and herb pots.

Thank you for your patience
