The course might appeal to families who do not wish to travel, have busy lives or are being extra careful during COVID-19.
During this course you will design and make various colourful pieces of recycled jewellery. You will use some tools (scissors & ruler) together with your child/ children and explore a variety of materials safely and correctly. Literacy, numeracy and ICT will be included in the lessons. For example; the counting of paper beads needed for the necklace, looking up of a jewellery artist on Google, measuring the diameter of a plastic bottle or talking about recycling. It’s a lot of fun, you will make some beautiful and unique pieces of jewellery and it is educational all at the same time!
No previous experience is necessary. The course is designed for beginners and intermediate learners. You can develop your skills further by enrolling for more than one course.
