What will the course Cover?

A fun 5 week course for parents and their children aged 5-11. Learn how to talk about the family and family activities and routines, colours, numbers, days of the week and the language for food and mealtimes as well as story-telling in French.

Who is this course for?

Parents and their children aged 5-11. This is a Family Learning course so parents must remain with their children at all times.

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?

A fun 5 week course for parents and their children aged 5-11. Learn how to talk about the family and family activities and routines, colours, numbers, days of the week and the language for food and mealtimes as well as story-telling in French.

What should I be able to do by the end of the course?

You should have gained knowledge and confidence in French in our fun and friendly class and be able to use basic French vocabulary and phrases on holiday and to help you at school.

That's up to you!

By your tutor.

What can I expect to go on to after this course?

You may wish to join Family French-Stage 2 or another Family Learning course. Parents may wish to take an adult French course with us. Speak to your teacher.

Are there any other costs and what do I need to bring?

This course is government funded so there is no cost to you, but you are expected to attend all the sessions and complete the course.
