Who are we?

Adult Learning & Skills Service is an adult education centre based in Hammersmith & Fulham, London, providing courses to learners aged 19 and over. The main site, The Macbeth Centre, is a Victorian school building originally called Waterloo Street School until 1937, then Waterside School, and following this, St John’s School.  Though the building has adapted and changed its usage over the years from religious teaching, to schooling and then adult education, learning has always been the foundation of all activities here. We are registered with Ofsted with our registered address being: Adult Learning & Skills Service, Macbeth Centre, Macbeth Street, Hammersmith, London W6 9JJ
