Sessional Tutor recruitment – Skills for Life 

Hammersmith & Fulham Adult Learning & Skills Service is looking to recruit a number of part-time sessional tutors with expertise in delivering subjects in ESOL and Functional Skills English and maths. 

We are looking for creative, innovative, dynamic tutors, who have experience and qualifications related to teaching adults reading, writing and SPAG from entry to level 2, to join our pool of sessional tutors. 

We require:

• A Degree or the relevant subject specialism (minimum Level 4) in teaching ESOL, English and maths
• An Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA etc.) 
• Teaching qualification (L3 minimum) 
• A proven record of learners’ achievement of 85% +
• 1-year+ teaching experience teaching adults 19+
• Candidates who appreciate that keeping and submitting course documentation on time is an essential part of teaching on government-funded courses.

Enthusiastic tutors to support our learners to achieve their goals, develop new high-quality courses and help expand our course offer, both in the classroom and online. An ability in using technology to support learners would be beneficial.
