The course covers key concepts, tools and practical techniques related to design brochures and presentations, with demonstrations, guided activities and real-world tasks.
This course is suitable for adults interested in design brochures and presentations, including beginners, hobbyists, jobseekers, self-employed people and those wishing to develop practical digital or business skills.
No formal qualifications are normally required unless stated. Basic English, digital confidence and an interest in the subject will help you succeed.
By the end, you should be able to apply the main skills and techniques of design brochures and presentations confidently and complete practical tasks independently.
The course is delivered through tutor explanations, demonstrations, discussions and hands-on activities. Learners develop skills through practical exercises and projects.
Regular practice between sessions is recommended. You may review notes, research topics, complete exercises and continue project work at home.
Progress is assessed through observation, practical tasks, completed activities, feedback, reviews of work and agreed learning goals.
You may progress to more advanced courses, accredited learning, employment-related training, self-employment or personal projects in this area.
You may need a notebook, USB drive or access to online accounts. Optional subscriptions or printing costs may apply depending on your project work.
HFALS offers learner support, study support sessions, access to computers and learning resources, guidance from tutors and support for learners with additional needs.
