Creative writing courses

Do you have a love of or interest in writing or reading? or maybe the desire to write a novel or short story.  Why not enrol on one of our creative writing courses.

In term 3 we have two time slots to choose from, taught by an experienced and published author Rasheda Malcolm.

The following courses will start in April.

First Steps in Creative Writing

• Who is this course for?

  This course is for anyone wanting to write a story and is looking for guidance on where to begin.  It will provide new and budding writers with the tools through which they can begin to create a piece of imaginative writing. It will cover writing practice, writing process and your writing mission.

• What will the course cover?

  In this class we will explore a range of styles and genres of creative writing across fiction, autobiographical & life writing, creative non-fiction, screenwriting and poetry. The focus is on experimenting across different types of writing, so that students can start developing their own original writing voices.
