Level 2 Award in Manual Handling: 1 day course

The goal of a Manual Handling training course is to educate individuals on best practices to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries and promote safe and efficient movement in the workplace.

• Who is this course for?

  This one-day introductory course is intended for all employees and can be used as an induction to health and safety in the workplace. The course has been developed to provide and introduction to the basics of health & safety in the workplace.

  - Principles of Health & safety legislation
  - Employees responsibility
  - Principles of Risk assessment
  - Common workplace hazards and control
  - Fire Safety
  - Workplace requirements
  - Accident reporting
  - The first aid provision
  - Emergency procedures
  - Personal hygiene
  - Accident and Incidents procedures

• Assessment & Certification

  There will be multiple choice question paper to answer in respect of their knowledge. Certificates are valid for 3 years on successfully completing the course.
