By the end of this Circuit Training Level 2 course, you should be able to confidently and competently instruct group circuit training sessions. This includes planning safe and effective sessions, teaching participants exercises, and understanding how to modify exercises for different fitness levels. You should also be able to monitor your own exercise intensity and adjust it accordingly.
This course is an 11 week Thursday morning course.
As individuals progress, home exercise will be recommended by the tutor.
Each learner is required to complete a health questionnaire and/or initial assessment from which the tutor will assist you in setting individual targets for progression within the class. The tutor will assess against the class targets and learners are expected to self assess and reflect on their own progression.
Progression within the courses enables learners to progress onto our termly Agewell courses. Your tutor will advise.
No extra costs. Please come along in comfortable and suitable clothing for an exercise class. You may like to bring a bottle of water.
