Learners in our arts & crafts courses are showing off their works on the walls of famous craftsman William Morris.

On Saturday, 7 June, Hammersmith was abuzz with excitement as the annual Summer Street Fest took over King Street and Lyric Square. The event, which drew crowds from all over the community, featured more than 150 stalls offering a variety of goods, food, and crafts. The atmosphere was electric with live music and entertainment that kept everyone engaged and entertained throughout the day.

On one of the many stalls was the presence of the Adult Learning and Skills Service (ALSS). Staff members Angelo Cappetta and Penny Asumang manned one of the stalls, engaging with over 100 people. They shared information about the wide range of courses available to the local community, including art and craft, languages, ESOL, Maths, English, fitness classes, and more. Their enthusiasm and dedication to promoting lifelong learning were evident as they interacted with festival-goers, answering questions and providing valuable insights into the benefits of our programs.
The Adult Learning and Skills Service is committed to supporting the community by offering diverse educational opportunities. Whether you're looking to develop a new skill, improve your language proficiency, or stay fit and healthy, there's something for everyone.
